The Band’s most recent release has been short listed for the Classical Album of the Year award at the Classical Brits to be held on 8 May at the Royal Albert Hall. Voting for this is conducted online at www.classicalbrits.co.uk/voting and all votes need to be cast by midnight on 11 April.
Major Roger MacMillan added ‘I personally believe this is terrific news not only for our Pipes and Drums, but for bagpiping in general and sincerely hope we can count upon your support. We have mounted quite an intensive internal media campaign within the Army and are sending this to as many as we can to hopefully enlist their support’.
