Jack Lee has been confirmed to do a recital in the Scots Guards Club in Edinburgh on Sunday 24th of August at 4pm.

10th Anniversary Pipe Tune Competition Winner Announced

The National Piping Centre was officially opened by HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay on 28 January, 1998, and earlier this year as part of our anniversary celebrations we announced a composing competition for a four-part 6/8 march for the great Highland bagpipe. By the closing date of 1 July we had received a grand total of 71 entries from all over the world.

Pipy flies high over Glasgow!

People all over Glasgow have woken to a new sight in the skies above the city. For this morning only, a 156 feet tall hot air balloon shaped like a Pipe Major has been flying above the city centre as part of the build up to Piping Live! and the World Pipe Band Championships which both take place next month.
