Knockout Competition
Cameron Drummond progressed through to the second round of the Edinburgh Knockout yesterday. The next knockout is on the 8th February at 4pm in the Scots Guards Club, Haymarket. The two recitalist are Alastair Dunn and Angus MacColl.

Piping Live Wins Event of the Year
Piping Live has won the Scots Traditional Music Awards Event of the Year for 2008. The Piping Live Festival has been running for 5 years and is growing in support every year, with featured acts from around the world and events through out Glasgow City Centre. Next years festival dates are 10th – 16th August.
Evening Class Enrolments for January 2009
Enrolments are now being taken for the new term of piping and drumming evening classes here at the National Piping Centre. The new term commences week beginning Saturday 17th January and runs for 10 weeks, finishing on Thursday 26th March.
