National Youth Pipe Band - Open Audition

The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland is looking to stregthen its ranks for the coming year. Open Auditions will be held for talented young pipers and drummers on  Saturday 31st January and Sunday 8th February.

Scholarship for NY School

clip_image0021.jpgThe National Piping centre are pleased to announce a $250 scholarship donated by the Clan Currie Society called  ‘The Pipe Major Kevin Ray Blandford Memorial Piping Scholarship. The Clan Currie Society is an American-based, international, non-profit cultural and educational organization, is the preeminent Scottish-American cultural society in preserving and promoting highland heritage at Scottish Games, ethnic festivals, as well as community groups and classrooms. The Society has over 3,000 members worldwide that gather via the Society’s website (www.clancurrie.org) and at special events and clan gatherings.

The Clan Currie Society have dedicated this scholarship to the late Pipe Major Kevin Ray Blandford for his contribution to piping in America.
