The 84th Ayrshire Music Festival was held on the 14th March 2009 at the Ayr Town Hall, Ayr. The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland would like to congratulate member Ciaran Sinclair on his prizes in the solo piping events listed below.

• 1st place Piobaireachd and the National Piping Centre Trophy
• 2nd place Under 18 March
• 3rd place Under 18 Strathspey & Reel
