We are pleased to announce the release of a patch to allow our Tutor Book CD to work on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Instructions

The file named exercises_video_cd.htm will work if the Video Recordings are not moved to the user’s Hard Drive but left on the CD.

The file named exercises_video_on_hdd.htm will allow the programme to work if the user has copied the video files from the CD to the hard drive and placed them in the default programme folder namely “C:\Program Files\Piping Centre Tutor” or, if the programme has been loaded on to a 64 bits operating system, “C:\Program Files (x86)\Piping Centre Tutor”

To use the file the user must rename the file to exercises.htm and then replace the original file in the default folder as mentioned above e.g.
- 32 bits operating systems: “C:\Program Files\Piping Centre Tutor”
- 64 bits operating system: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Piping Centre Tutor”

Please note however that the PiobMaster Book File will not play properly as the programme (PiobMaster) does not function properly on either Windows Vista or Windows 7 even in compatibility mode. The reason for this is that the PiobMaster is not designed to run in either of the said versions of Windows.
