Highly appreciated on the stage as solo, he gives his best with the “Ecletnica Pagus” ensemble.

He spread the “Italian Bagpipes” worldwide and has played at “La Scala” theatre in Milan, leaded by the great Riccardo Muti.

Maurizio Marino
Maurizio MarinoProfessor of oboe at the Campobasso Conservatoire and first oboe in the Regional Symphonic Orchestra of Molise.

As a young musician he won an important competition for oboe organized by the RAI – Italian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra in Naples, with whom he played the instrument from 1983 to 1992. Member of the “Ecletnica Pagus” ensemble.

Duilio Vigliotti
Lawyer since from 30 years, started early his interest on music studying firstly accordion. After few years went on keyboards and church organ.
Duilio VigliottiHis interest on pipes, as a player, started on 2001 and he, probably has been one of the earliest Italian students at the National Piping Centre. The interest on both the Great Highland Bagpipe and the Zampogna led him to start a cross cultural project based on the pipes, project immediately supported by the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the National Piping Centre as well as Italian public administrations and private companies. He’d have more time for practice but… too busy on organizing things…
