Students should aim to check in to the hotel (if have booked accommodation) for 3pm. After this everyone should meet in the Music Building Room 109 at 4pm. if you have a car you should park in lot D. Direction for the Music Building are as follows…

Directions to Music Building:

• From I-75 Exit #271, turn west on Chastain Road.
• RIGHT on Frey Rd which is at the 1st traffic light past the interstate.
• LEFT on Campus Loop Rd and drive under the pedestrian walkway connecting the campus (on left) to student apartments (on right)
• LEFT at first street past overhead walkway onto Owl Dr
• Straight thru stop sign. Parking lot D is on the right and the Music Building is beside the lot.

Please bring your practice chanter to this introductory meeting as the teachers will asses your ability and allocate you to a group for the rest of the week. This is not a test and so students should just play something that they know well.

At this time timetables and music packs will be given out but please remember, if you have not pre-bought the music book there will NOT be an opportunity to purchase one. The music pack will have previously been emailed to all of you and so you can if you wish print a copy for yourself. The music packs are £18 and can be bought at time of booking or later from our shop.
