Members of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland will perform for the first time alongside members of YDance and Scottish Youth Theatre for a brand new collaboration project supported by Homecoming Scotland. They will be re-telling Burns’ epic Tam O’Shanter with each company bringing its own style to the performance. Their first performances are this weekend (Fri 16th and Sat 17th) in Stirling Castle, with further performances in Eden Court, Inverness on the 26th and then Haddo House in Aberdeenshire on 30th and 31st of October – a Hallowe’en Scarefest!
The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland are performing their brand new show “The Dragon’s Lair” at the Usher Hall, Edinburgh on Saturday 28th November 2009. This is also the band’s first ever performance in the nation’s capital so it will be an amazing experience all round!
