The National Piping Centre is an ideal venue for many kinds of private or public events. We offer an excellent day delegate rate as well as individually priced packages.
All catering is freshly made in the kitchens of the Pipers’ Tryst Hotel. Lunch-time buffets are available as you work, and start at £9.00 per person. Alternatively you may require to break out and have an a la carte lunch in the Pipers’ Tryst Restaurant. The maximum reservation we can take for this is 40.
We have ample AV equipment in house for hire, such as LCDs, flipcharts and screens. If you require any other equipment we would be delighted to organise this for you.
In addition, The National Piping Centre boasts several comfortable break-out areas, an environment where delegates can gather their thoughts, discuss the day’s events between sessions, or just relax. These highly practical rooms of varying sizes seat between four and twenty people comfortably. These areas can also be used for exhibitions and presentations.
The Ivory Room, Blue Room, Collinson Room and Robertson Room are ideal for smaller meetings, interviews or seminars.
Please note that the Robertson and Collinson rooms have no natural light and may be unavailable during term time for piping tuition.
The National Piping Centre is a highly versatile conference venue and is already used by number of blue chip organisations for meetings and seminars, including BBC Scotland, Glasgow Junior Chamber of Commerce, Network Rail, SMG, RSAMD, Scottish Television and KPMG.
The Robertson and Collinson rooms also provide seasonal examinations for the Associated Board of Music and London College of Music and Media, as well as rehearsal space for the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. A teaching piano can be hired for your musical requirements, and, of course all rooms are sound proof!
