Individual Tuition

Individual Lessons are available to students in one of two ways. You can come into The National Piping Centre for face-to-face lessons with one of our world-class teachers, or you can set up a skype lesson over the internet with a teacher.

For both in person and skype lessons, the duration is 50 minutes and can cover a variety of topics. For example lessons might cover individual development work, competition preparation, preparation for school performance exams and preparation for Piping and Drumming Qualifications Board theory and practical examinations. How these lessons go depend on your needs as a piper, and we can help your piping go further.

The National Piping Centre will consider requests for shared lessons if the students are compatible in learning ability.

These individual lessons are available 9am – 9pm, Monday to Friday, dependent on teachers’  availability.

Every student is unique to us and lessons will be tailored for each student’s ability, whether you are a complete beginner or a top flight solo piper.
