Accommodation and Local Information

Accommodation

This year we have changed things in order to allow students more choice and flexibility.

Students should arrive on Sunday 18th June, to start lessons on Monday 19th June.

Option 1- The University Inn

We have arranged a rate with the University Inn on campus, where students can book a shared or single room at very reasonable rates. This is a 5 night option where a shared room is £50 or a single room is £53 per night. This is paid on booking here, and will be allocated through us here.

These rooms include

  • All meals are included in cost
  • Wifi
  • Student Lounge and Kitchen

Students are required to bring their own linen (sheets and towels) however.

This accommodation is located on Campus where the school would take place. Find out more here

Option 2 - Lee Jackson Best Western Motel

We have reserved a number of rooms at an advantageous rate in the Lee Jackson Best Western Motel, 711 Millwood Avenue, Winchester which is located right next to Shenandoah University.

When calling to make a reservation students simply have to inform the Motel that they are attending the Bagpiping and Drumming summer School in order to receive the Promo rate. See below for rates and code to quote.

Students under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a chaperone who will stay in the same room as the student.
