From San Francisco and the Bay Area
Take Highway 101 south to Prunedale. Exit Highway 156 to the Monterey Peninsula. After five miles, you will intersect with Highway 1 heading south to Monterey. Take the Pebble Beach/17-Mile Drive exit and follow signs through the intersection to the Pebble Beach entrance gate.
From the Los Angeles area
Take Highway 101 north to Salinas. Exit Highway 68 to the Monterey Peninsula. After 20 miles, you will intersect with Highway 1 heading south to Monterey. Take the Pebble Beach/17-Mile Drive exit and follow signs through the intersection to the Pebble Beach entrance gate.
From the Monterey airport
Exit the airport and turn right at the traffic light onto Highway 68. After one mile, you will intersect with Highway 1 heading south to Monterey. Take the Pebble Beach/17-Mile Drive exit and follow signs through the intersection to the Pebble Beach entrance gate.
Directions to Stevenson from the Pebble Beach entrance gate
Tell the gate attendant that you are attending the Monterey Bay School of Piping and Drumming at Stevenson School. Proceed through the gate and bear to the left and follow the directions below. You do not have to pay the gate entrance fee.
Once you arrive at the school, there will be signs to the room where you will check in. (note when facing the front of the school and its lawn/athletic area, you will take the driveway on the left side of the school and park in the parking lot. The check-in building is called the Atwood Building)
