The National Piping Centre is a registered charity. We are very fortunate that our great success has allowed us to remain largely self-sufficient, however the extent and outreach of our many valuable projects simply can’t be sustained without help. We want to continue providing and developing our projects, but feel it’s important to do this while keeping lesson and admission costs to a minimum. Thus, we look to the generosity and partnership of the private sector for support.
In return, our supporters and friends benefit from a close relationship with the National Piping Centre, and our sponsors gain measurable business benefits.
Individual Support
Support from individual donors can help ensure the National Piping Centre’s financial stability and increase our capacity. As an individual, you have a real opportunity to make a big difference. If there’s something the National Piping Centre does which you are passionate about, we can work to make sure that your money goes exactly where you want it to, and you can receive significant tax benefits in the process.
Corporate Sponsorship
Gain prestige and visibility by contributing to the cultural life of Scotland. We are always looking for corporate supporters who want to make a big impact, and will do everything we can to make sure your business needs are met in return.
Create a Legacy
Make your mark on piping history with a planned gift. By including the National Piping Centre in your estate plans, you will be ensuring the future of the National Piping Centre as well as the long term evolution of the Piping Tradition for years to come, and you or your estate can reap significant tax benefits. If you are thinking about leaving a legacy, please contact us and we can help you through the process.
Trusts and Foundations
The support of trusts and foundations is critical to enhancing the capacity of the National Piping Centre’s outreach and educational programs.
Overseas Support
The National Piping Centre benefits not just the people of Scotland, but the greater community world-wide with an interest and passion in Scottish culture, music, and history. The National Piping Centre is a registered member of the American Fund for Charities, making donating easy for those overseas who wish to support us. If you live overseas and are interested in supporting the National Piping Centre, please contact us.
Support Us While Online Shopping
You can also support the National Piping Centre while doing your ordinary online shopping. The Giving Machine is a website which allows people to donate a percentage of the money they spend when shopping online, at no extra cost to the individual. All you have to do is to register with www.thegivingmachine.co.uk, select the National Piping Centre as your charity of choice, and shop for the things you would normally shop for online, from groceries, books, clothing, flights, even the Post Office! Then the website will automatically make a donation to the National Piping Centre on your behalf at no extra cost to you. Please spread the word about helping the National Piping Centre through www.thegivingmachine.co.uk, and happy shopping!
