SPA Contest Draw Now Live for Saturday 14th April 2019

The draw for this Saturday's Scottish Pipers' Association has now been done. There will be 2 venues for this contest for the first time this year, with the P and A grade events taking place at The NPC Otago Street in Glasgow's West End and then the B and C grade events taking place at The National Piping Centre McPhater Street on Saturday 13th April 2019.

The A grade Former Winners Contest should be quite a spectacle with players submitting 4 each of Marches, Strathspeys & Reels and have to play two of each right through.

This is the first time in recent years that the SPA has had graded contests and we hope it will be as big a success as the entries suggest.

Some players who play in different grades will have to change venue but the draw should ensure plenty of time for the short Subway journey.
This will be a great day of piping, spectators are welcome, so head along for 09.30 for the start of these contests.
