The Pipers’ Tryst is the perfect place for your special celebration.
Guests can choose to use The Museum of Piping (FOC) for a sparkling wine reception beforehand giving you a private space to mingle and meet your guests.
The restaurant can be hired privately for parties of 30 or more (max 42guests). We offer superbly balanced Scottish set menus, canapés lists and children meals.
Children are welcome to stay and have fun until 12am in the guidance of their parents.
The restaurant features a private bar space which is yours for the duration, with space for dancing, musicians or just to hang out at the bar!
We even have an 8-bedroom hotel – so why not make it a house party with a resident’s license!

We want all our guests to have the best stay possible. The building is accessible to guests with mobility issues via a lift on the side of the building. This gives access to the main floors within the building. Please call in advance to arrange lift access. There are also accessible toilets on all floors. As an historic building however, there is no lift facility available to our hotel bedrooms, with a flight of shallow stairs. For more information please read our access statement here.
