LEARN FROM OUR WORLD CLASS TEACHERS
At the National Piping Centre, we offer tailored learning opportunities for every age and stage whether you’re a young beginner, an adult learner, or an aspiring professional.
Young players can join local Community Piping Clubs, take part in our fun and friendly Holiday Clubs, or aim high with the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland. Adults can enjoy structured Evening Classes or connect with others through CLASP, our global community for amateur pipers.
For more personalised learning, we offer one-to-one lessons both in-person and online, open to all ages and levels. You can also design your own Immersive Course or join a week of music and community at one of our Gatherings. And for those looking to take their piping to the highest level, our Degree Programme with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland offers world-class training.

Did You Know?
We Offer Pipe Band Workshops?
Whether you’re a competing band looking for final competition prep or a community band working on new material we offer Pipe Band workshops for bands of any size, scale and ability.
The duration and the number of hours of instruction per day given during these workshops is completely flexible and we will work with you to design a workshop that is unique to your requirements.
Specialised instruction can be arranged for the pipe, snare, bass and tenor sections of the band as well as general ensemble playing. Topics covered may typically include technique, maintenance, instrument set-up, tuning, ensemble, music selection and arrangement, marching and discipline and competition preparation.
Prices for pipe band workshops are available on request and are based on the length of the workshop and the number of teachers involved.
