Accommodation and Local Information
Accommodation
This year we have changed things in order to allow students more choice and flexibility.
Students should arrive on Sunday 16th June, to start lessons on Monday 17th June.
Option 1- The University Inn
We have arranged a rate with the University Inn on campus, where students can book a shared or single room at very reasonable rates. This is a 5 night option where a single room including all meals is ÂŁ55 per night (approx $70), or a single room with no meal plan is ÂŁ35 per night (approx $45). This is paid on booking here.
These rooms include
- All meals are included in cost
- Wifi
- Student Lounge and Kitchen
Students are required to bring their own sheets and towels. A laundry is available on campus for use through the week.
This accommodation is located on Campus where the school would take place. Find out more here
Option 2 - Staying in town
There are a number of great options for staying close by Shendandoah University. We would advise booking early for 2019 as we have been advised that there is another big event in town over the week of the school, so make sure you ahve secured your accommodation early! Listed below are a number of great places to stay.
