NPC 25th Anniversary Junior Competition - Results
On Saturday 13th February 2021, the date the competition was originally scheduled to take place, the results were announced for The National Piping Centre's Online Video Submission competition to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the event. The online submission format allowed The National Piping Centre to expand the events and age categories, including a brand new Freestyle event. This led to the biggest competition yet, with 132 competitors and over 350 separate performances to be judged.
We would like thank the piping companies who have supported this event by donating prizes, they are:
Wallace Bagpipes who donated a set of pipes as the overall U15 chanter winner prize, Roddy MacLeod MBE, RG Hardie & Co Bagpipes, McCallum Bagpipes Ltd, John Dew – Composition, John Mulhearn Music, Ross Ainslie Music, G1Reeds.com, MG Reeds, Pipe Dreams Ezeedrone Reeds, The Piobaireachd Society, Canning Reedmakers, Cpt Stuart Samson, Maverick chanters, dh Design & Typesetting, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Donald MacPhee Reeds and Craig Muirhead.
We would also like to thank our judges who worked hard to get these results from such a great number of entries which were all of a fantastic standard of piping. We also want to thank our Administration Officer, Andrew Bova who worked tirelessly behind the scenes collating entires and results.
