Vacancies with the Royal Oman Police - Now Open

Two vacancies have just become available at The Royal Oman Police for a Piping Instructor and a Drumming Instructor.

We have been provided with this description of conditions:

•    2 year renewable contract

•    Salary:  In the range of 2000 Rials made up of 1500 R.O. + 500/- rental allowance for all inclusive accommodation and utilities

  • 45 days paid leave plus all local holidays

•    Paid flights per year

•    Full medical cover

•    Accompanied status – family can accompany the successful applicant

Potential applicants should be:

•    Aged between 25-40

•    Excellent health with no long term medication

•    Qualified (Degree graduate, PDQB/RSPBA Certificates)

•    Working knowledge of the PDQB/SCQF syllabus

•    Excellent piping skills or snare drumming skills with working knowledge of bass, tenor and drum majoring

•    Able to manage/lead a players of varied standards and learning abilities and contribute fully as member of the management team
