Could you be our Pipe Idol 2019 at Piping Live!

We are delighted to announce that this year's Piping Live! Pipe Idol Competition is now open for entries. This fantastic competition for pipers aged 21 & Under, sees 16 of the best young players from across the globe compete over 4 heats during Piping Live! 2019, for their place in the Pipe Idol Grand final.

Each day 4 competitors will perform at the Street Cafe outside The National Piping Centre, in front of a live audience and a hidden panel of judges. Each competitor will play a March, Strathspey and Reel, a 4 part Hornpipe and Jig and then a musical selection of no more than 5 minutes

- Name of competitor 
- Date of Birth 
- Age on Sunday 18th August 2019 
- Tutor 
- Pipe Band Name (if applicable) 
- A video audition, recorded specially for the competition. It must include an MSR, Hornpipe and Jig and a Medley. The Medley must be no more than 5 minutes long. 

If the video file is too big to email, please send it using WeTransfer. This can now be done from a mobile, so is easy to send.
