Pipe Band Workshops

The National Piping Centre is able to offer tailor-made workshops for pipe bands of any grade. The duration and the number of hours of instruction per day given during these workshops can be dictated by the band.

Specialised instruction can be arranged for the pipe, snare, bass and tenor sections of the band. Topics covered may typically include technique, maintenance, instrument set-up, tuning, ensemble, music selection and arrangement, marching and discipline, competition preparation and others by mutual agreement.

Prices for pipe band workshops may vary dependant on the resource commitment in terms of staffing and rehearsal space required.
