Curriculum and Quality Assurance Coordinator

Location: Glasgow • Deadline: 24th May

We are seeking to expand our quality assurance team. The Curriculum and Quality Assurance Coordinator will report to our Learning & Development Lead throughout the development and review of curriculum as well as the quality assurance processes across the organisation.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our teachers, assessors, internal verifiers, curriculum developers, and scrutineers, as well as our events and management teams to maintain high standards of learner experience, academic integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This is, initially, a part-time role: 0.6 fte / 21 hours per week.
Pay, £27,000 pro-rata.

NATIONAL YOUTH PIPE BAND LEAD DRUMMING FACILITATOR

NYPBS Drumming Lead role

Location: Glasgow • Deadline: 12th June

We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring drummer to lead the drums in the NYPBS, working across snare, tenor and bass to support and develop the next generation of pipe band musicians across Scotland.
This is a key creative and educational role within NYPBS, combining musical leadership, tuition and performance development in a supportive and ambitious environment.

NYPBS Trainee Tutor Programme

Location: Glasgow and around Scotland • Deadline: 12th July

We’re now recruiting Trainee Tutors to join the NYPBS team — a paid training and development opportunity for emerging piping and drumming tutors.

This programme offers hands-on experience working across our ensembles and projects, supporting young musicians aged 10–25, and developing skills in teaching, leadership, and music education alongside experienced NYPBS staff and tutors.

Over nine months, trainees will gain practical experience in rehearsal leadership, workshop delivery, and supporting ensemble development within a national youth music programme.

We’re looking for enthusiastic pipers and drummers who are keen to develop their skills and build experience in music education and youth work.

📍 Based primarily in Glasgow, with national activity across Scotland
💰 Paid training and delivery (£89 per day)
