Top Tips for the Night Before your Wedding Day
All the planning is in place and all the guests have RSVPed - your big day is finally here!
With everything now in place and with your venue, now is the time to relax and enjoy everything you have planned! But what can you do you do to keep calm, collected and most importantly not worry too much about the details of the next day, so you can enjoy the experience to the full. Here are some of our top tips on how to enjoy the night before your big day...
1. Enjoy time with your family and wedding party
Share the excitement and build up to the big day with those nearest and dearest with you. This will settle any nerves and anxiety you might have and just let you appreciate them for all the love and support they have given you in the run up to the ceremony. If you can, why not have an informal dinner with your nearest and dearest, where you can relax over some nice food and look forward to the day ahead.Â
Â
2. Prepare ahead!
This might sound obvious, but to relieve any stress, double check you have everything you need and it's all where it needs to be! Make sure you have everything you are supposed to wear, any accessories you need such as jewelry or cufflinks, what you will wear to get ready, and everything you need for the next day or so by laying it all out - make a checklist if it helps you. Remember to have your vows if you are creating your own, everything for your outfit and anything you need your wedding party to hold (including your phone) whilst you enjoy every minute of your wedding. This means the night before your mind can relax, knowing you are all set. You don't want to forget anything important on your big day!Â

3. Get an early night if you can
Your wedding will be an all day event, probably where you wake up early with excitement too, so you will need all the energy you can get. A good night's sleep and some relaxation time to yourself is the best thing to do to make sure you can stay up celebrating and socialising into the wee hours - even if the excitement is too much! Head to your room early, relax with some TV or calming music, and look forward to the day ahead.Â
Â
4. Remember to have breakfast!Â
This one sneaks into this list - but with all the excitement and nerves, it can get overlooked! Its so important to fuel your body for the big day ahead, especially if you are planning to crack open the bubbly early. Something wholesome like a bowl of porridge with bananas is the perfect fuel, its light on your tummy and will see you through to your wedding breakfast later in the day. It's a marathon not a sprint, so make sure you eat (even though you won't want to!) and be your best self on your big day!Â
