Planning the perfect honeymoon
You've done it, you are now married, the wedding was a success, everyone had a great time and now your feeling a bit of the post-wedding blues. The honeymoon is the best way to banish these blues and have something else to look forward to. Heres a few pointers to make yours the best that it can be!
Research, research, research!
Looking around at what you want is the most obvious start to planning your honeymoon. Discuss with your partner where you would like to go, giving your top 5, and try and slowly work down to one that you would both be happy with. Share around with your friends on social media as well to find out the best resorts and destinations to go to and hear their reviews about it. You can also talk to travel agents who will have a vast knowledge of destinations and resorts too and will be able to point you in the right direction especially with budgets in mind too!
Work out a honeymoon budget
Speaking of budgets, money is also a key thing to know when working out where to go on your honeymoon. Whether you are big budget or small budget, your honeymoon will definetly be romantic and enjoyable for the both of you. Work out a savings plan towards your budget goal as early as you can to make sure you reach the target so you can get booking as quickly as possible.
Plan a loose itinerary
Your honeymoon is the best time to relax and enjoy your new life as a married couple. Unless you plan to lay by the beach or relax in a cottage in the peace and quiet of the countryside, having a loose plan of activities and sightseeing you would like to do is a good thing to do so you have things in place but also don't feel the pressure of doing everything when you just want to some chill time.
