NYPBoS - New Album coming 8th December
Get Thunderstruck This December!
The National Piping Centre and The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland are pleased to announce that their latest album will be available to download from iTunes, Google Play and Amazon from Friday 8th December.
This is their first release for 6 years, following on from the immensely successful album Illumination. Thunderstruck was recorded live earlier this year at Perth Concert Hall and was recently awarded Best Live Concert as voted by the public at this yearâs Big Rab Show awards.
This will be the first recording to feature members of both the Development and Senior Bands, which together comprise of around 100 members. The concert also features some of the best traditional musicians performing on stage with the band with support from Scott Wood (Skerryvore), Alistair Patterson (BBC Young Traditional Musician Finalist 2014), Fraser Stone (Treacherous Orchestra), and Seamus OâBaoighill (BBC Young Traditional Musician Finalist 2015) amongst others.
